Cancellation Policy

Effective December 9th, 2020, deposits will no longer be moveable/changeable. All appointment bookings will be final. Should you need to reschedule or cancel, you will lose your deposit and need to make a new appointment with a new deposit. This change allows me to effectively service all our clientele in an effective manner. As a reminder, the appointment books are now open on a 10-day basis. For your convenience, you can book 24/7 at www.byjawz.com or by downloading the Vagaro app and searching “ByJawz”.

  • Grayed out means I am unavailable because I am booked or blocked off. Refresh the page daily for updates.

    The appointment books are now open on a 10-day basis.

    Squeeze-in/Emergency slots are always available. Please email to learn more and/or inquire.

    Follow @byJawz on Instagram for updates on when new dates are available. First come, first serve.

  • I do not offer squeeze-in slots during regular schedule hours. 

    However, I do offer

    • $200 Early Bird Specials on Thursday's, Friday's, and Saturday's

    • $250 Out-of-shop or Squeeze-ins, Sunday-Wednesday.

    *Intended strictly for Non-Extension services.

    For Extension services;

    • a $250 squeeze-in fee plus service cost is required*

  • All services are labeled and located on the booking site.

    They're broken down as such:

    • Categories: All have listed services attached with “starting prices” which vary on customization.

    • Service: All have description section with details for that specific service.

    • Add-On: Use this category option to add additional customized services to your service. (Ex: Wash & Blow-Dry, Lengths, Boho/Curly Ends, Treatment, etc.)

    • ALL BOOKINGS ARE FINAL. SO, PLEASE READ AND BOOK ACCORDINGLY.

    • Deposits are NOT moveable/changeable. All appointment bookings will be final.

    • Should you need to reschedule or cancel, you will LOSE your deposit and need to make a new appointment with a new deposit.

    • This allows me to effectively service all our clientele in an effective manner.

  • Sorry, all bookings are final.

  • My in-shop schedule opens up every 10 days. Go to the In-Shop Release Dates link under the Hair Services tab.

  • If booking braiding service, please go to the “Hair Prep” section of this website.

    For all other services; please contact directly before booking to ensure service is booked correctly and to clarify details. Appointments may be cancelled if hair is not prepped appropriately or that specific service is requested.

  • This is very important: STRICT 10 MINUTE GRACE PERIOD.

    At 11 minutes your appointment will be CANCELLED, no exceptions.

    Plan your travel wisely as there is limited on-street parking available. I highly advise arriving a minimum of 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

  • Only the service booked is serviced. If the description of the service being booked states that something else is included, then it is. If not, it needs to be added as an add-on at the time of booking your service.

    For example;

    Washes, Blow-Drys, etc. are not included, but can be added.

    All additional “Add-Ons” can be added to your service at the time of your booking inquiry.

  • YES.

    50% of your service cost is required at the time of your booking inquiry. It is deducted off your grand total, and the remaining difference is due on the day of the service.

  • Please do not bring anyone to your appointment (including pets).

    Children under 12 years old can be accompanied by a parent on the time of their service.

    Group bookings must still show up separately to their booked services.

  • Yes.

    ByJawz braiding hair is included in all braided extension services, and is reflected in the service prices.

    However, all sew-in’s, curly/boho ends, or Senegalese hair is NOT included with services.

    **Vivid or fashion tone colors are not included. Please message me for further clarity on options before booking.

  • All ByJawz braided extension services are under bra strap length.

    If you desire longer length, feel free to “add-on” additional length to your service.

    Otherwise it will NOT be accommodated at the time of your service.

  • Cash or ZELLE

    • Cash change is limited, so please bring exact change.

    • No Credit Cards or other forms of Payment.
